On-Track Debut:
Following the launch, Lewis and George took the W15 for a 15km demo run, marking a significant milestone as the culmination of efforts from our Brackley and Brixworth teams hit the track for the first time.

Inaugural Lap:
Despite the distance constraints of a demo day, we managed to complete five laps on the International layout of the Silverstone circuit. The W15 will undergo further testing in Bahrain next week.

Charting Our Path:
Our 15th season in Formula One follows a commendable P2 finish in the 2023 Constructors’ standings. While recognizing the challenges ahead, our team stands prepared to tackle them head-on.

A Closer Look at the W15:
The focal point of the day was undoubtedly the W15 itself. Sporting a livery that harks back to the iconic Silver Arrow aesthetic on the front nose, while retaining the sleek black design on the rear, the W15 embodies a perfect blend of tradition and innovation.

New Features for 2024:
The Mercedes-AMG F1 W15 E PERFORMANCE incorporates lessons learned from previous seasons, allowing for significant enhancements not feasible during the season. These include a new chassis, gearbox casing, and aerodynamic refinements aimed at maximizing performance while minimizing drag.

Focused Improvements:
Particular emphasis has been placed on rectifying issues with the previous car’s rear axle, enhancing control and stability. Additionally, enhancements to DRS effects and pit stop performance have been implemented to address areas of improvement.

Embracing Heritage:
In celebration of the 90th anniversary of the iconic Silver Arrows, the W15’s livery sees the return of the famous silver hue, accentuated by the INEOS ‘Toto Rosso’ red and PETRONAS green, symbolizing the team’s commercial prowess and recent partnerships with esteemed brands like SAP, WhatsApp, and Luminar.

As we embark on this new chapter, the entire team is driven by determination and focus, poised to overcome challenges and strive for excellence on and off the track.
